PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make achieve an accurate and practical quality inspection of electrodeposi tion paint performable by painting a transparent conductive glass plate with the electro deposition paint by an anode process and measuring the outer shape characteristics of the paint film mechanically.SOLUTION: The transparent conductive glass plate is painted with an electrodeposition paint whose quality is to be inspected by the anode process. The electrodeposition paint includes an anionic electrodeposition paint and a cationic electrodeposition paint. Also, regarding the conditions of electrodeposition paint, conditions that are nearly similar to those of painting to an aluminum building material can be adopted. Specifically, the paint bath temperature is 15-35°C the painting voltage is 50-250 V, and the treatment time is 1-5 minutes. The film thickness is preferably 7-20 μm after drying. Using the transparent conductive glass plate with a paint film, the outer shape characteristics of the paint film are measured mechanically. The outer shape characteristics of the paint film include luster, visible light transmittance, surface roughness, and the like are listed as the outer shape characteristics of the paint film. By inspecting them, the evaluation of the paint film for accurately and quantitatively measuring the luster, visible light transmittance, surface roughness, and the like can be performed.
