PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the interruption controller which functions to autonomously set the priority order of interruption request signals outputted by I/O controllers where peripheral devices are connected according to the operation speeds of the connected peripheral devices. SOLUTION: A bus monitor circuit 2 detects bus access for setting speeds to the I/O controllers as generation sources of interruption request signals IRQ0 to IRQ3 by a CPU and sets set values S0 to S3 of detected speeds in speed registers 3-0 to 3-3 that the I/O controllers correspond to. A priority determining circuit 4 inputs the interruption request signals IRQ0 to IRQ3 and the speeds S0 to S3 set in the speed registers 3-0 to 3-3 to select the interruption request signal of the I/O controller with the highest speed among S0 to S3 preferentially when the interruption request signals IRQ0 to IRQ3 are generated at the same time and then set an interruption factor in an interruption factor register 5 that interrupts the CPU.
