The invention aims to provide a novel furnace chamber of a refuse pyrolysis incinerator, which can optimize combustion characteristics inside the incinerator. The novel furnace chamber is of a sectional form and comprises a left side wall, a right side wall, front walls (5, 6 and 7), a back wall 4, a horizontal pyrolysis furnace grate 1, a slanting combustion furnace grate 2 and a bottom burnout furnace grate 3. The included angle of the furnace grate 1 and the horizontal plane is 0 degree, the included angle theta 3 of the furnace grate 2 and the horizontal plane is 20 to 30 degrees, and the included angle of the furnace grate 3 and the horizontal plane is 0 degree. The included angle of the front wall 5 and the horizontal plane is 0 degree, and the length of the front wall is equal to that of the furnace grate 1. The front wall 6 is adjacent to the front wall 5 and is positioned on the back part of the front wall 5, the included angle theta 1 of the front wall 6 and the horizontal plane is 18 to 25 degrees, and the length of the front wall 6 is equal to 1/3 to 2/5 of that of the furnace grate 2. The front wall 7 is adjacent to the front wall 6 and is positioned on the back part of the front wall 6, the included angle theta 2 of the front wall 7 and the horizontal plane is 40 to 50 degrees, and the length of the front wall 7 is 1/3 to 2/5 of that of the furnace grate 2.
